Honda Announces Industry-First 7-Year, Unlimited Kilometres Warranty

Honda Car India has introduced a new extended warranty program offering unlimited kilometer coverage for up to seven years on select models.

At the time of sale of any Honda car, the company (HCIL) provides a standard warranty for a period of 3 years with unlimited kms for Amaze, City, Civic, Elevate, Jazz, and WR-V. You can now enhance the standard warranty on your car with the Honda Extended Warranty program.

You can extend the warranty by three years or four years for a nominal amount, any time before your vehicle crosses the standard warranty period.

Kunal Behl, Vice President of Marketing & Sales at Honda Cars India Ltd., stated, “At Honda Cars India, we are dedicated to improving the customer ownership experience. Backed by the durability, quality, and reliability of Honda cars, this Extended Warranty Program offers protection for up to seven years with no restrictions on kilometers, ensuring customers can drive without worry.”.

Existing customers having extended warranties till 4th year and 5th year can also opt for warranty extensions up to seven years or up to 1,50,000 kilometers (whichever is earlier). The extended warranty purchased is transferable and will add value at the time of car resale.

Under the extended warranty, the dealer will repair or replace any part that proves to be defective within the limits of the extended warranty (Terms & Conditions applicable) at no charge to the customer for parts and labor.

Furthermore, complete extended warranty price lists for the qualifying Honda models are now available with dealers.

The Honda Care extended warranty is an optional warranty that can be purchased by the customer any time before the expiry of the new vehicle warranty.
