Hyundai Motors has launched a new Wired to Wireless Adapter for its Alcazar SUV, allowing owners to use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly.
Hyundai Alcazar will now feature a wireless Android Auto and Apple Car Play connection. The new wired-to-wireless adapter is a small device that plugs into the USB port of the SUV and doesn’t require any kind of special installation. It has been designed to support both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay without the use of cables.
This technology upgrade comes at a time when wireless smartphone integration is becoming a standard expectation among new car buyers.
Moreover, this enhancement will be available across the Alcazar’s Prestige, Platinum, and Signature variants.
The pricing for Alcazar models featuring this new wireless adapter starts at Rs 17.22 lakh for both the 1.5 Turbo Petrol and 1.5 Diesel Prestige 7-seater variants, with the top-end variant priced at Rs 21.59 lakh (ex-showroom). Prices of these variants are now higher by Rs. 1,800 to Rs. 3,800.
“At HMIL, our focus is to empower customers by providing best-in-class technology that elevates their driving experience,” said Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer at Hyundai Motor India Limited. He added that this innovation aims to meet the expectations of tech-savvy customers who desire seamless connectivity during their journeys.
