Hyundai Creta continues to be the most successful mid-size SUV in the Indian market. In March 2025, Hyundai sold 18,059 units of the Creta, Setting new benchmarks for the SUV segment in the country.
The Hyundai CRETA has emerged as India’s top-selling SUV in the January-March quarter with 52,898 units sold. Creta continues to be a crowd favorite, despite facing tough competition from rising contenders like the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
Hyundai Motor India Limited is India’s second leading manufacturer in the Indian market. The Creta’s consistent performance in the market has contributed to Hyundai’s overall growth.
Moreover, HMIL closed FY 2024-25 with total sales of 7,62,052 units, reinforcing its position as the second-largest passenger vehicle OEM in India. In March 2025 alone, the company recorded 67,320 units in total sales, including 51,820 units in the domestic market and 15,500 units shipped overseas.
