Hyundai Exter SUV Gets New S Smart and SX Smart Variant, Here’s What It Offers!

The new variants are aimed at offering Indian customers a varied choice of advanced technological and convenience features at an attractive price point.

Hyundai Motor India has expanded the Exter lineup with the addition of two new mid-level variants – S Smart and SX Smart.

Prices start at Rs 7.68 lakh and go up to Rs 9.18 lakh for the Hy-CNG Duo variant. These new mid-range variants extend the Exter lineup, making this micro-SUV more accessible to the buyers.

With this move, the carmaker aims to enhance the value and accessibility of the Exter buyers seeking premium features at competitive prices.

Additionally, HMIL is now standardizing Child seat anchor – ISOFIX for Exter, ensuring easy child seat installation and providing a comprehensive safety package for the entire family.

Features

The S Smart comes equipped with features like an electric sunroof, LED taillights, a tyre pressure monitoring system, rear air conditioning vents, and LED daytime running lights (DRLs).

The SX Smart upgrade includes a smart key, push-button start, a shark fin antenna, and projector headlights.

Additionally, For an extra Rs 14,999, you can include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a rear parking camera.

The Hyundai Exter is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine which can also be had with an optional CNG kit, which returns a reduced output. Here’s a look at its specifications:
