Hyundai is gearing up to join Kia in offering an electric three-row SUV. Hyundai is preparing to debut its alternative in the form of the Ioniq 9.
The Ioniq 9 will be Based on Hyundai’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP).
Hyundai released two teaser sketches of the Ioniq 9 showing off a swoopy silhouette and the “lounge-like” interior.
The IONIQ 9 reveals a striking design including profile character lines that reference traditional Korean Hanbok garments, signature Parametric Pixel lighting, and dynamic multi-spoke wheels that capture the model’s sophisticated spirit.
Moreover, the Ioniq 9 is likely to share some specs with the Kia EV9.
As per the reports, the IONIQ 9 will make its debut in America and most probably also be produced there initially before heading out to the rest of the world.
