Hyundai India has introduced a new “S+” variant for its subcompact SUV, Venue.The new variant is packaged between the S and S(O) variant in the line-up and has been launched at a price of Rs 9.35 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Hyundai Venue S+ is priced at Rs 25,000 more than the S model (₹9.11 lakh) and has an electronic sunroof. Hyundai India recently unveiled the Venue S (O) variant with an electric sunroof, priced at Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Hyundai Venue S+ is powered with a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 83 horsepower and 114 Nm of torque powers the Venue S+. It is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox.
For safety, it packs in 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, as standard along with hill start assist, automatic headlamps, seatbelt reminder for all occupants, ISOFIX child seat mounts and even TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system).
In Hyundai Venue’s variant lineup, S Plus is positioned above Venue S and below Venue S (O). There is a variant above S (O) called S (O) Plus and it was launched earlier this month at Rs 10 lakh (Ex-sh). When launched, S (O) Plus was the most affordable sunroof variant in Venue.
