JSW MG Motor India has secured the second position in India’s luxury electric vehicle market, driven by high demand for its premium offerings the MG Cyberster sports car and the MG M9 Presidential Limousine. Both vehicles are currently seeing waiting periods of three to four months due to sustained customer interest.

Strong Demand for MG Cyberster and M9 Limousine

The MG Cyberster has quickly become one of India’s most sought after sports cars. Since its launch in July 2025 it has sold 256 units through the company’s luxury retail chain MG SELECT. The performance-focused vehicle comes with a dual motor all wheel drive system generating 510 PS of power and 725 Nm of torque which allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.

The MG M9 Presidential Limousine has also attracted a premium clientele. Its luxury features and high end specifications have contributed to JSW MG Motor India’s strong position in the luxury EV market making it the second most popular brand in this segment as per VAHAN registration data from September 2025.
