Kia Carens Clavis Makes Debut, Bookings Open At Rs 25,000

Interested buyers can book the new Kia Carens Clavis online or at authorised Kia dealership by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000.

The Kia Clavis has finally been revealed in India ahead of its market launch in the coming months.

It is an updated version of the existing Carens. Bookings will open tonight at 12 am. The prices of the MPV will be announced on June 2, 2025. The word Clavis comes from ‘Clavis Aurea’ which is Latin-speak for ‘Golden Key’, where Kia says that the new model holds the key to family happiness.

Interested buyers can pre-book the new Carens Clavis at a token amount of Rs 25,000 via Kia’s official website or an authorised dealership.

Kia Carens Clavis Design

The Kia Clavis comes with a refreshed exterior styling featuring redesigned front fascia with split headlamp setup, Starmap LED Connected Taillamps, 17-inch crystal-cut, dual-tone alloy wheels, front & rear Skid Plates with Satin Chrome finish, side door garnish inserts on Metal Paint, and new Ivory Silver Gloss body color.

On the inside, the Clavis features a twin 26.62-inch panaromic display, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, front ventilated seats, in-built navigation, Bose audio system, etc.

Furthermore, segment-first feature on the Kia Clavis is the powered, one-touch double-folding second-row seat, designed to ease access to the third row.

The Clavis has several segment-first conveniences like spot lamp illumination in rear doors, a retractable seatback table with cup and device holders, and an electric parking brake with auto-hold

Additionally, it also comes with a Boss Mode, where the second row passenger can adjust the distance of the co-driver’s seat from behind and adjust the legroom.

Kia Carens Clavis Color Options

The Clavis offers eight color options—Ivory Silver Gloss, Pewter Olive, Imperial Blue, Glacier White Pearl, Gravity Grey, Sparkling Silver, Aurora Black Pearl, and Clear White.

On the safety front, the Clavis offers 6-airbags, ESC, VSM, BAS, HAC, DBC & ABS, a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitor. front and rear parking sensors, all wheel disc brakes and tyre pressure monitoring system and Level-2 ADAS, which offers 20 autonomous features like Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (Car, Pedestrian, Cycle, Junction Turning, Direct Oncoming), Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist, and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist.

Kia Carens Clavis Expected Price

The Kia Clavis will be positioned above the current Kia Carens, which will continue to be on sale. The current Kia Carens is priced from Rs. 10.6 lakh to Rs. 19.7 lakh (ex-showroom). Expect prices of the Kia Clavis to start at Rs. 12 lakh and go up to Rs. 22 lakh (ex-showroom).
