Kia India has hiked the price of its smallest car, the Sonet, this month by up to Rs 11,000. However, the price hike depends on the variants and the powertrain.

Recently, the Sonet got a new Gravity Trim which is positioned above the HTK+ variant.

Kia is also working on affordable GT Line variants of Seltos and Sonet that are expected to be launched in the coming months.

The GTX+ 1.0 turbo-petrol DCT version of the Sonet has witnessed a price drop of Rs. 11,000. Simultaneously, the HTE(O) 1.2 petrol MT, HTK 1.2 petrol MT, HTK 1.0 turbo-petrol iMT, and the HTK+ 1.0 turbo-petrol iMT have become affordable by Rs. 3,000 each.
Two versions of the Kia Sonet, namely the HTX 1.0 turbo-petrol DCT and the HTK(O) 1.2 petrol MT, will now be dearer to Rs. 2,000 less than the outgoing prices each. Finally, the GTX 1.0 turbo-petrol DCT and the GTX+ 1.0 turbo-petrol DCT dual-tone versions witness a price drop of Rs. 1,000 each.
The change in prices is applicable with immediate effect.
