Kia India is gearing up to launch its second sub-4 metre compact SUV, the Syros, in the country. Ahead of the launch, The South Korean carmaker has started accepting bookings for its new Syros compact SUV today, January 3, 2025.
Customers can book online or at dealerships with a Rs 25,000 deposit. The South Korean carmaker has announced that the Syros will be launched on February 1, with deliveries starting mid-February.

The Syros has six trims — HTK, HTK(O), HTK+, HTX, and HTX+, HTX+(O).
Kia Syros : Safety
The Syros offers 20 safety features as standard. The standard safety pack includes electronic stability control, hill start assist control, six airbags, vehicle stability management and electric parking brake with auto hold. With Kia Connect 2.0, customers also get SOS emergency support, real-time diagnostics, and stolen vehicle tracking.
Kia Syros : Dimensions and space
The Kia Syros measures 3,995mm in length, 1,800mm in width, 1,665mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,550mm. Compared to the Sonet, it is wider, taller, and offers a longer wheelbase. Boot space has also increased to 465 litres, an improvement over the Sonet’s 385 litres.
Kia Syros : Engine
There are two engine options — Smartstream 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol (120PS/172Nm) and 1.5-litre CRDi VGT diesel (116PS/250Nm) — both from the Kia Sonet. The transmission options include 6-speed MT and 7-speed DCT with petrol unit and 6-speed MT and 6-speed AT with diesel unit.
