Each station will be located next to restaurants, cafes and other common wayside facilities so users can relax or eat while their EV charges. This reduces idle waiting time and adds convenience for people on long journeys

Even though these stations are developed by Mahindra they will be open for all EV owners. Drivers from any brand will be able to use the high speed chargers

For Mahindra’s own EV users including the BE 6, XEV 9e and the upcoming XEV 9S, the charging time at these stations will be extremely quick. The company says these SUVs can go from 20% to 80% in only 20 minutes with the 180kW chargers. This makes it easier for users to plan long trips without long charging stops

Mahindra has also introduced digital tools to help users find and use the chargers. Owners of Mahindra EVs can use the ‘Me4U’ app to locate Charge_IN stations, start charging and make payments. For EV owners from other brands there is a separate app called ‘Charge_IN by Mahindra’, which gives access to the entire network
