Ever since its launch in August 2020, the three-door, second-gen Thar has been a hit among Indian buyers. This festive season, Mahindra is offering a price cut of Rs 1.6 lakh on the 3-door Thar.
The new Thar comes in two trim levels: AX (Adventure Series) and LX (Lifestyle Series), with either a soft or hardtop.
Moreover, along with the dealer discounts on the retro-styled off-roader, customers can also get a free Mahindra accessory kit worth Rs 25,000.
Lower variants like the LX Petrol AT 2WD with Hardtop and LX Diesel MT 2WD with Hardtop get benefits of Rs 1.25 lakh, while the AX and LX trims are offered with benefits worth Rs 1.3 lakh.
The offer amount may vary depending on the version, dealership, stock availability, and other factors. It is recommended to visit the nearest Mahindra- authorized dealership to get more information on the same.
The Mahindra Thar 4WD is currently priced between Rs. 11.35 lakh and the top-spec version costing Rs. 17.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Thar is powered by a 152-hp, 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine and a 132-hp, 2.2-liter diesel engine. Both engines are mated either to 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearboxes.
At present, the Thar 3-door is available with almost no waiting period at most outlets.
