Mahindra XEV 9S 7-seater electric SUV Launched at Rs 19.95 Lakh

The new Mahindra XEV 9S electric SUV has been launched in India at a starting ex showroom price of Rs 19.95 lakh. This model becomes the brand’s third product in the Electric Origin lineup after the BE6 and XEV 9e. It also holds the title of being Mahindra’s first electric SUV to offer three rows of seating

Mahindra has announced that bookings will open on January 14 2026. Deliveries are planned to begin on January 23. Dealer yards will start receiving demo units soon and test drives will be available from December 5

Mahindra XEV 9S Design And Exterior

The XEV 9S follows the same design language seen on the XEV 9e and the popular ICE-powered XUV700. Mahindra has kept a clean and modern look for this SUV

These numbers are similar to the XEV 9e, with only a small difference in the 0–100 timing

• 79 kWh BYD-sourced pack

The larger battery claims 600+ km of range under ideal conditions. Real-world driving should return above 500 km. Mahindra is also offering a lifetime battery warranty, which is a strong selling point

The XEV 9S comes with:

• Four drive modes: Everyday, Race, Range, Snow
• Five regen levels to adjust braking energy recovery
