Maruti Suzuki Fronx Flex Fuel concept has been revealed at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, which is scheduled to launch in India in 2026.
The design of the Fronx FFV (Flex Fuel Vehicle) appears similar to the regular Fronx, the Flex Fuel version will have special badges or stickers (often green-colored) to show it’s the eco version.
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx Flex Fuel features updated fuel storage, supply, and injection systems. A more advanced ECU can automatically detect ethanol content and adjust engine parameters for optimum performance, efficiency, and clean emissions.
As the E20 implementation is now in progress in India, and plans are in place to advance to E30 and beyond in the future years. This policy path is precisely aligned with the Fronx flex-fuel model.
Once launched, the Fronx Flex Fuel is going to be among the few mass-market flex-fuel products expected to be on sale. It may not be the cheapest product around, but it will help buyers who are looking for cleaner transportation without going fully electric

Engine Specifications
Currently, the power figures of the flex fuel Fronx are still unknown. However, we expect it to have the same 1.2-litre NA petrol engine from the current model.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx Flex Fuel concept showcased at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 gets the same features that are available in the made-in-India export-spec version of the crossover.
However, the Japan-spec Fronx that is exported from India gets an ADAS suite. Additionally, it gets heated front seats, an electronic parking brake (EPB) with auto hold as an extra.
