Maruti Grand Vitara Gets More Colour Choices Across Variants

Maruti Suzuki has broadened the appeal of its popular Grand Vitara SUV by rolling out new colour options for the Sigma, Delta and Delta+ variants. This update comes soon after the launch of the Grand Vitara Phantom Blaq Edition, which was introduced as part of Nexa’s 10th anniversary celebrations. Fresh colours for Sigma variant

Until now, the entry-level Sigma trim of the Grand Vitara was sold only in Arctic White. Maruti has now added three more monotone paint options – Nexa Blue, Grandeur Grey and Pearl Midnight Black. With these new shades, the Sigma variant is now offered in four exterior colours.

New addition for Delta and Delta+

For the mid-spec Delta and Delta+ trims, Maruti has added Pearl Midnight Black to the list. These two variants already had Nexa Blue, Splendid Silver, Opulent Red, Grandeur Grey, Arctic White and Chestnut Brown on offer. With the new update, buyers can now pick from seven colour choices for Delta and Delta+.

The rollout schedule has also been shared. The Delta variant in black will start reaching dealerships by the end of August 2025, while the new colours for the Sigma will be dispatched from mid-September.

Prices unchanged

There is no change in pricing with this update. The Grand Vitara Sigma MT continues to start at ₹11.42 lakh while the Delta MT and AT are priced at ₹12.53 lakh and ₹13.93 lakh respectively. The strong hybrid Delta+, positioned as the most affordable hybrid trim in the line up is priced from ₹16.99 lakh.

Competition: colour options compared

While the Grand Vitara now offers a wider palette some rivals still provide more choices in their entry level trims

• Kia Seltos– The base model is available in seven colours Imperial Blue, Pewter Olive, Intense Red, Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, Sparkling Silver and Clear White
• Hyundai Creta– Buyers can choose from six single tone colours and one dual tone option, though base trim choices are limited
• Toyota Hyryder– Being a sibling model to the Grand Vitara, the Hyryder offers a near-identical set of colours, albeit with slightly different shades and names. Its monotone shades include Cafe White, Enticing Silver, Gaming Grey, Sportin Red, Midnight Black, Cave Black and Speedy Blue. Dual tone options pair these with a contrasting black roof

Dual tone trend in compact SUVs

Dual tone shades have become a popular styling choice among compact SUV buyers. On the Grand Vitara, the dual tone palette includes Arctic White with Black, Splendid Silver with Black and Opulent Red with Black. These combinations give the SUV a sportier, premium look something most rivals also try to achieve in their top trims
