Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for the launch of its first pure-electric model, the e Vitara. The brand’s first zero-emission vehicle made its official debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025.
The e Vitara will be sold via the Nexa chain of dealerships, the company has updated the Nexa website with some more details of the e Vitara.
Moreover, the e VITARA is inspired by the concept of an “Emotional Versatile Cruiser,” combining advanced technology with modern design.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara : Safety Features
The e Vitara will also be equipped with a host of safety features. These include 7 airbags, TPMS, a 360-degree camera, rear disc brakes, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, a Blind Spot Monitor, an Acoustic Vehicle Alarm System for pedestrians and Level 2 ADAS.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara : Color Options
Maruti Suzuki will launch the e Vitara in 10 exterior color options. These are six monotone colours: Nexa Blue, Splendid Silver, Arctic White, Grandeur Grey, Bluish Black, and Opulent Red.
Besides the monotone colours, there will be four dual-tone options. The dual-tone versions will have a black roof and A- and B-pillars with contrasting colors such as Arctic White, Land Breeze Green, Splendid Silver, and Opulent Red.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara : Battery Pack and Range
Maruti e Vitara is offered with 49kWh and 61kWh battery packs, each paired with a single electric motor. The smaller unit generates 142bhp, while the larger unit develops 172bhp. The torque output of 192Nm is common for both versions.
Maruti Suzuki claims a range of over 500km on a single full charge.
