The new electric Vitara is based on Suzuki’s new skateboard platform, called HEARTECT-e. It will be available with two battery packs – 49kWh and 61kWh – featuring LFP ‘Blade’ cells sourced from BYD.

The e-Vitara will be available with two battery configurations: a 49 kWh pack paired with a single motor delivering 142 bhp and 189 Nm of torque, and a 61 kWh option offering 172 bhp with the same torque output, also using a single motor.
Moreover, it will feature multiple driving modes — Eco, Normal, and Sport.
