Maserati has introduced the Grecale in India, with a starting price of Rs. 1.31 crores (all prices, ex-showroom). It will be sold as a CBU unit, directly imported from Italy.
The Grecale is available in three variants– GT, Modena and Trofeo. The GT starts from Rs 1.31 crore, the Modena at Rs 1.53 crore and the Trofeo at ₹ 2.05 crore, all ex-showroom.
The compact SUV is positioned below the Levante in Maserati’s SUV line-up.
Italian automobile manufacturer is also expected to launch the all-electric Grecale Folgore in India, though further information is yet to be revealed by Maserati.
Maserati Grecale : Exterior
The front of Grecale gets the Maserati’s typical signature style statement, featuring chrome chrome-finished grill and impressive-sized bumper with a Maserati’s logo at the front, complimented by twin dual-exhaust tips, and an LED headlight setup, paired with integrated DRLs.
Additionally, it gets a redesigned Maserati trident logo on the C-pillar.
The rear profile, though similar to the Levante, is scaled down for a sportier, more compact look, Grecale has slim wraparound tail lights with dual exhausts at the back.
Maserati Grecale : Interior
On the inside Grecale offers a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with an 8-inch touchpad for the climate controls and a digital instrument cluster, a head-up display projecting critical data onto the windshield, Grecale is equipped with the Maserati Intelligent Assistant (MIA) Multimedia system, as well as the Maserati Connect, control the in-car experience. The Maserati Grecale also offers customizable functions like a clock, compass, G-meter, or chronometer. The compact SUV also has 10-way powered front seats with a memory function. The Grecale also includes Level 1 ADAS.
Maserati Grecale : Powertrain
The Grecale GT is equipped with a 300hp, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine featuring mild-hybrid assist.
The Grecale Modena shares the same engine as the GT, additionally the Modena is tuned to produce
330hp, The Grecale Modena also features a limited slip differential and adaptive suspension.
The Grecale Modena can sprint from a 0-100km/h time of just 5.3 seconds.
The Grecale Trofeo is powered by a robust 530hp, 3.0-liter V6 turbo-petrol unit, the Grecale Trofeo variant also includes an electronic limited slip differential as standard.
The Grecale Trofeo variant reaches 100km/h in impressive 3.8 seconds and attain a top speed of 285km/h.
All the variants of the Maserati Grecale come paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.
