The MG Cyberster electric roadster has started arriving at MG Select showrooms in 13 cities across India.
Customers who pre-booked in March by paying Rs. 51,000 can now see the car live for the first time. Early July deliveries mean buyers will soon take their first highway drives.
This rollout marks MG’s push to bring premium electric sports cars into the Indian market.
The Cyberster draws its looks from the classic 1960s MG B roadster and adds a modern twist. Every corner of the cabin is simple to use, yet packed with high-tech flair.
It has scissor doors that open up like wings, giving a cool first impression. Inside, the cockpit feels like a gaming console with four bright screens and soft vegan leather seats.
This roadster uses SAIC’s stiff and light Modular Scalable Platform for better handling. The RWD version has one rear motor, and the AWD gets two motors for more grip.
Both variants deliver quick sprints and long drives. City trips and weekend runabouts will feel sporty, while battery range keeps charge stops few.
Variant | Battery | Motor Setup | Power | Torque | 0–100 km/h | WLTP Range |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
RWD (Trophy) | 64 kWh | 1 Rear Motor | 310 bhp | 475 Nm | 4.9 sec | 507 km |
AWD (GT) | 77 kWh | 2 Motors | 503 bhp | 725 Nm | 3.2 sec | 443 km |
Charging the Cyberster is as easy as charging a phone, but for your car. Plug in at home with an AC charger to fill the battery overnight.
Head to a fast-charge station to get 80% juice in under 40 minutes. The two battery sizes suit different needs: city runs or long highway tours.
As a fully imported CBU model, the Cyberster sits in the premium EV price bracket. MG has priced it to attract early adopters looking for an electric sports car.
Token bookings at Rs. 51,000 secure your slot, and dealers are ready to take full orders now. Delivery timelines and exact on-road costs vary by city and taxes.
Variant | Ex-Showroom Price |
---|---|
RWD (Trophy) | Rs. 60.00 Lakh |
AWD (GT) | Rs. 70.00 Lakh |
MG has packed the Cyberster with smart safety tech to protect passengers. The reinforced body shell and six airbags give strong crash safety.
Level-2 ADAS features help keep the car in its lane and maintain a safe distance on highways. This system steps in without feeling too invasive, making drives both safe and smooth.
With the Cyberster in showrooms, India’s EV scene gets a dose of pure sports car fun. This model can push other makers to bring more electric performance cars.
As charging points spread and buyers grow confident, we’ll see more niche EVs on our roads. MG’s move signals that electric dreams can be thrilling and real.
