JSW MG Motor India, through its newly launched luxury brand channel MG Select, has released a performance preview of the upcoming MG Cyberster Roadster, which is slated to launch in January next year.
The Cyberster is engineered for precision by former Italian Formula 1 expert Marco Fainello, promising exceptional acceleration and braking dynamics. Inspired by the iconic MG B Roadster from the 1960s, the Cyberster blends classic design elements with cutting-edge technology, delivering a thrilling and modern roadster experience.
Notably, the MG Cyberster electric sportscar will be the first model to be sold via MG Select. Moreover, the Cyberster will retail in India as a completely built unit (CBU); here is a look at the Cyberster’s details:
MG Cyberster: Powertrain
The MG Cyberster will feature a dual-motor setup with a combined power output of 503 hp and 725 Nm of peak torque. The motors will be powered by a 77 kWh battery pack with an ultra-low thickness of 110 mm. The Cyberster will feature a double wishbone at the front and a five-link independent suspension at the rear.

The feature list of the MG Cyberster includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, ambient lighting, a Bose sound system, a retractable sunroof, electrically adjustable ventilated seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, and many more.
Additionally, the Cyberster also debuts India’s first electric scissor doors, equipped with dual radar sensors for added safety. These doors include an anti-pinch bounce-back mechanism to protect passengers while opening or closing.

Dimensionally, the MG Cyberster sportscar is 4,533 mm long, 1,912 mm wide, and 1,328 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,689 mm.
