MG launches e20 complaint Hector, priced from Rs 13.99 lakh

- JSW MG has begun rolling out the production of E20 Hector since March 31, 2025, based on the Government of India’s mandate for E20 compliance in petrol-fuelled vehicles manufactured post-April 1, 2025.
JSW MG Motor India has updated the Hector SUV for 2025, making it E20 compliant. The price start at Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated Hector comes in both 1.5-liter Petrol MT and CVT variants, making it environmental friendly option for customers.
Notably, the E20-compliant MG Hector is already available across all showrooms in India, the SUVs had already started to roll off the production line from March 31, onwards.
This step aligns with the Government of India’s mandate for E20 compliance in gasoline-fuelled vehicles manufactured post-April 1, 2025.
The MG Hector is the latest SUV in the brand’s portfolio after the Astor to be updated to comply with this fuel type.
The MG Hector was launched in 2019 as India’s first Internet SUV, pioneering connected car technology with more than 70 smart features. Known for its spacious cabin, advanced safety systems, and ADAS capabilities, The Hector is MG’s flagship model in India.
Variants – The MG Hector comes in six variants: Style, Shine Pro, Select Pro, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro.
Seating Configurations – The MG Hector gets five, six, and seven-seat configurations in the country.
Powertrain – The MG Hector has 1 Diesel Engine and 1 Petrol Engine on offer. The Diesel engine is 1956 cc while the Petrol engine is 1451 cc . It is available with Automatic & Manual transmission.
Features – The MG Hector comes equipped with a 14-inch portrait-style infotainment screen, automatic turn indicators, improved connected car technology, a panoramic sunroof (control the percentage of opening via the infotainment), and ambient lighting (multiple colours). Additionally, it includes a powered tailgate, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging and heated outer rear-view mirrors.
Color Options – The MG Hector gets seven colour options: Dune Brown, Havana Grey, Candy White, Aurora Silver, White and Black (dual-tone), Glaze Red, and Starry Black.

JSW MG Motor India has also launched a ‘Midnight Carnival’ promotion for the Hector. Running through June 30, 2025, this nationwide initiative allows buyers to enjoy substantial benefits:
