JSW MG Motor India’s newly launched luxury brand channel, MG Select, has revealed the name of the second car from its portfolio – ‘MG M9’ . It will be showcased at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo.
“The MG M9 is a luxurious limousine designed for the discerning few. It has spacious cabin, opulent interiors and is equipped with advanced technology to offer supreme comfort and sophistication,” the company stated.
MG M9 limousine will feature touchscreen handrail on reclining ottoman seats in the second row to the trapezoidal front grills on the exterior. It will also have 8 massage modes in the ottoman seats and the 3-zone climate control, all of which can be controlled from the touchscreen panel on the handrail.

MG M9 : Design
The M9 sports a boxy silhouette, flat roofline, and a tall glasshouse. It features sleek LED DRLs and LED headlamps positioned on the front bumper with a chrome element running along its edges, vertical LED taillights with an LED light bar. The side profile is more understated with minimal frills and a sliding rear door which gives a classy look. At the rear, the MP gets a flat tailgate, L-shaped LED taillights and a roof-mounted spoiler.
MG M9 : Launch Date and Competitors
The M9 is expected to launch by March 2025 with a starting price of around Rs 65 lakh, ex-showroom. It will compete with the Kia Carnival, which is available only in a fully loaded variant with a diesel engine and is priced at Rs 63.90 lakh (introductory ex-showroom pan-India).
MG M9 : Powertrain and Range
The MG M9 MPV is likely to come with a 90kwh battery with an estimated range of over 400km on the WLTP cycle.
