Which is the Best Variant?
MG has cleverly created a clear distinction between the well-equipped Sharp and the ultra-luxurious Savvy trims of the Majestor, making it appealing to both budget-savvy enthusiasts and those in search of a “private sanctuary on wheels.” The Sharp variant covers all the essential high-end features, while the Savvy trim takes it up a notch with Level 2 ADAS, massaging seats, and the segment-first triple differential locks (in 4×4), setting a new standard in its class.
As showroom previews kick off in April 2026, just ahead of May deliveries, the Majestor is poised to take on established competitors like the Toyota Fortuner Legender, offering a more tech-savvy option for the modern Indian family.
Our Verdict: Which Variant Should You Actually Buy?
If you’re after a robust SUV for city driving and the occasional highway trip, the Sharp variant impresses it certainly doesn’t feel like a “base” model.
However, if you’re buying the Majestor for what it truly represents a tech-loaded powerhouse the Savvy 4×4 (6-seater) is the only one that completes the story. The Savvy isn’t just about “more features”; it’s about the peace of mind that comes with Level 2 ADAS and the unmatched luxury of those massaging captain seats that make long road trips feel effortless.
For the driving enthusiast, the 4×4 capabilities are a game changer. With front, center, and rear differential locks, you’re not just in a luxury SUV; you’re behind the wheel of one of the most capable off-road vehicles in India. If your budget can stretch a bit, the Savvy 4×4 is the version that will keep you satisfied (and spoiled) for years to come.
