JSW MG Motor India has commenced deliveries of more than 100 EVs on a single day in Delhi-NCR. Strengthening its commitment to encourage the adoption of electric vehicles. Currently MG India offers three EVs: the MG Windsor, India’s first intelligent CUV; the MG ZS EV, India’s first pure electric internet SUV; and the MG Comet, a micro electric car suited for city driving.
Earlier this week, the automaker delivered 100 units of the Windsor EV alone in Bengaluru, shortly after deliveries of the CUV commenced across the country.This reiterates the growing enthusiasm of car buyers for MG’s EV models.
Driving towards its ambitious target of selling one million new-energy vehicles in India by the end of the decade, MG Motor India generated a third of its total sales from electric vehicles during the first half of 2024.
Notably, MG Motor India is also expanding its network across tier 3 and tier 4 cities and rural markets. It plans to set up 100 new touchpoints by the end of the year, eyeing a total of 520 touchpoints in 270 cities across the country by the end of March 2025.
