Nissan X-Trail Unveiled, Launch Set for 1st August

Nissan has revealed the fourth-gen X-Trail for India ahead of its launch, The Nissan X-Trail makes a comeback to India after a decade. The X-Trail will become the flagship Nissan offering upon its arrival.

The Nissan X-trail is Based on the CMF-C platform co-developed by Nissan alongside Renault. In India. Nissan will offer the 3-row version of the X-Trail.

The fourth-gen X-Trail will come to India via the completely built-up unit (CBU) route.

Nissan India currently only has the Magnite compact SUV in its portfolio, upon the X-trail launch Nissan line-up in India will double, X-trail will be the flagship SUV from Nissan in India.

Prices for the X-Trail are expected to be announced later this month.

Nissan X-Trail : Exterior and Design

The Nissan X-Trail offers a signature V-motion reverse trapezoidal dark chrome grille in the front, with a split headlight approach taking centre stage.

Coming to the side, you get conventional door handles, faux roof rails, round wheel arches with plastic cladding, 20-inch dual tone alloy wheels wrapped with 255-section tyres.

At the rear, the new X-trail gets wraparound LED taillights.

Nissan X-Trail : Dimensions

The X-Trail measures 4,680mm in length, 1,840mm in width, 1,725mm in height, and has a 2,705mm-long wheelbase. The Nissan X-trail has a short turning radius of just 5.5 metres and a ground clearance of 210mm.

The India-spec X-Trail will be equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, with an all-black theme with fabric upholstery.

The second of the Nissan X-trail row comes with 40/20/40 split-folding, sliding and reclining functions, while the third row gets 50/50 split-folding and reclining functions.

The SUV also offers features like a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, dual zone automatic climate control, wireless charger, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control and an electronic parking brake.
