The Taycan RWD is priced Rs 24 lakh lower than the Taycan 4S and Rs 87 lakh less than the Turbo.
The model can sprint from 0 to 100kmph in 4.8 seconds, all the way up to a top speed of 230kmph.
Porsche has launched its most affordable Taycan range. The Porsche Taycan RWD variant is priced from Rs 1.67 crore (ex-showroom), which will be sold alongside the existing all-wheel-drive models.
The Porsche Taycan EV was earlier available in 4S and Turbo variants. As the RWD variant is introduced in India, the Taycan has become more affordable. The WLTP range for the Taycan RWD is up to 590km.
Bookings for the new Taycan RWD electric car are now open across India.
Porsche Taycan EV RWD Battery Pack and Performance
The Porsche Taycan RWD is powered by an 89 kWh battery pack paired with a single electric motor setup, which produces 408 PS and 410 Nm of torque. The Porsche Taycan RWD can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds.
It also supports 270 kW DC fast charging, allowing it to charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes, while the standard 11 kW AC charger takes 9 hours for a full charge.
The Taycan RWD has a peak speed of 230 kph and weighs 2090 kg.
