The new Audi A6 combustion model rides on the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC), the same as the new A5, while the EV is underpinned by the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) co-developed with Porsche.
Audi has revealed the all-new 2026 Audi A6 sedan globally. The German carmaker calls its Business Class model with one of its sleekest shapes ever. The new luxury sedan will also get cabin upgrades including new tech and more larger screens.
The new A6 sedan also has a front face dominated by a large grille that incorporates advanced air bending to channel the air more efficiently over its body. There are two air curtains and a new front splitter with plenty of underbody panels that are aimed to control air flow and reduce lift for high levels of stability at speed.
The new A6 Saloon is a good 60mm longer than its predecessor, while its generous wheelbase of 2,927mm ensures a spacious interior. Notably, the new A6 saloon is the brand’s most aerodynamically efficient ICE model ever, boasting a drag coefficient of just 0.23.
The new A6 also features optional all-wheel steering, which improves maneuverability at low speeds and enhances stability and precise handling at medium to high speeds.
