Skoda Kushaq Facelift is Here! Production Begins Ahead of March Deliveries & Price Reveal

Skoda Auto Volkswagen India has officially begun producing the highly awaited 2026 Skoda Kushaq Facelift at its Chakan manufacturing site in Pune.

The Chakan facility acts as the primary production center for Škoda and Volkswagen’s passenger vehicles that utilize the MQB-A0-IN platform.This includes popular models like the Škoda Slavia, Kushaq, and Kylaq, along with the Volkswagen Taigun and Virtus.

Pre-bookings are already underway for a token amount of ₹15,000. While pricing is expected to be announced in the coming days, Skoda has confirmed that customer deliveries will begin in March 2026.

Launched in 2021, the Skoda Kushaq was the first vehicle to emerge from the Volkswagen Group’s INDIA 2.0 program. This launch was a significant step in their localization strategy, aimed at boosting the Group’s foothold in the Indian passenger vehicle market.

Variants

The facelifted Kushaq is organized into five main trims.

• Classic Plus: The feature-loaded base variant.
• Signature: Mid-spec with 17-inch alloys and sunroof.
• Sportline: Blacked-out aesthetics.
• Prestige: Luxury-focused with the new beige interior and massage seats.
• Monte Carlo: The top-spec “Red and Black” themed flagship.

Expected Price

Prices are expected to range between ₹11.19 Lakh and ₹19.69 Lakh (ex-showroom).
