The Skoda Kushaq has been on sale in India since 2021 and it is now ready for a mid life update. With the company planning only the Octavia RS launch in 2025 the refreshed Kushaq is expected to reach showrooms in 2026. A camouflaged test mule was recently spotted on the Mumbai Pune Expressway offering a closer look at what’s new in the facelifted SUV.
Exterior Design Updates
Spy images confirm that the upcoming model will carry significant changes: - Headlights: The prototype shows the familiar split-style headlamp design but with sharper detailing. Dynamic LED indicators replace the older halogen setup while LED DRLs sit lower in the cluster.
- Front Bumper: Still under heavy wraps, but a revised bumper and new fog lamp arrangement are likely.
- Side Profile: The silhouette remains unchanged. The test car wore 17 inch black alloys, similar to the current Sportline variant. Silver roof rails and chrome-finished door handles continue to be part of the look.
- Rear Styling: The SUV retains its wraparound taillights, but these now carry dynamic swiping indicators. A redesigned bumper is expected but was hidden under camouflage.
