Skoda’s new sub-4m SUV, the Kylaq, is currently the most popular model in Skoda’s lineup. The carmaker’s smallest SUV, was launched in India at the end of last year.
The compact SUV’s initial reception has been positive. Skoda plans to deliver 33,000 units by May, prioritizing higher-spec variants.
Skoda Kylaq’s base Classic trim has the longest waiting period of up to 5 months.
However, the waiting period varies across the different variants is just over a month in most cases. The Kylaq Signature waiting period is around 3 to 6 week. Meanwhile, the Skoda Kylaq Signature Plus gets a shorter waiting period, somewhere between 2 to 3 weeks. The Skoda Kylaq Prestige waiting period is between 1 to 3 weeks.
The Skoda Kylaq Classic is arguably the company’s most value-for-money model. The Kylaq packs a punch right from its base variant, Classic. The entry-level trim is diligently priced and offers decent features and a powerful turbo petrol engine.
Skoda had temporarily paused receiving orders for the Classic trim of the Kylaq SUV in the first batch. However, the automaker resumed taking orders for it in January 2025. This trim is still in the highest demand, the Classic trim is only available with a manual transmission and has limited color choices.
