The automaker recently commenced deliveries and test drives of the Kylaq SUV. Booking is already open for all variants. The Kylaq SUV is priced between Rs 7.89 lakh and Rs 14.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
The sub-4m SUV segment is not an easy one and there are some major players in the field which already have the first mover advantage.
Skoda plans to deliver 33,000 units by May, prioritizing higher-spec variants. The automaker even had to pause and reopen bookings for the Classic trim to manage the rush. Moreover, Škoda plans to sell 100,000 cars annually in India by 2026 with this newest release.
The Skoda Kylaq SUV is offered in four variants, namely Classic, Signature, Signature+, and Prestige.

The base Classic variant has the longest waiting period of up to 4 months. Notably, the Kylaq base Classic variant comes only with a manual gearbox and limited color options (red, silver, and white)
The mid Signature variant has a waiting period of 3-4 months, depending upon on the color. The Signature variant, features like 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, a rear defogger, a 7-inch infotainment system, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. It also gets USB Type-C charging ports, a front armrest, chrome garnish, a parcel tray, a cooled glovebox, and to name a few.

The top Signature+ and Prestige trims are most readily available with an average waiting period of 2-3 months, irrespective of the colour or gearbox. The Skoda Kylaq is powered by a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 115 horsepower (PS) and 178 newton meters (Nm) of torque. It is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
