Skoda is gearing up for the debut of its upcoming subcompact SUV named Kylaq, which will be revealed globally on November 6, 2024, and it is expected to be priced from Rs 8.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
The front fascia can be seen with Skoda’s signature grille, similar to the other offerings like the Kushaq and Slavia. It features a hexagon pattern on the side and rear of the car and adds details like refined and precise DRL light signatures.
Škoda Kylaq, the ‘SUV for you’, will be specifically developed for India by teams in India and the Czech Republic with an eye on versatility, safety, and dynamics while focusing on localization, low maintenance costs, and a hassle-free ownership experience. Based on a larger car platform, the compact SUV will have the ‘big car’ feel within the 4-meter footprint.
The Skoda Kylaq will be powered by the 1-liter, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine delivering 113 bhp and 178 Nm of torque.
Notably, the Skoda Kylaq will be the most affordable Skoda for sale in India.
