The Altroz from Tata Motors will be refreshed and shown to the public on May 22, 2025. The new update will still bring i-CNG dual-cylinder technology to Altroz, ensuring it remains the sole premium hatchback in the nation to have this.
Images released before the launch highlight various changes in the car, aimed at making it both useful and secure. Since the Altroz was first released in 2020, the facelift was the main way it has been updated.
The use of dual-cylinder technology is still part of their CNG vehicles
In 2023, Tata began using a setup called i-CNG that has two small cylinders placed underneath the boot floor rather than a huge one. Because of this, boot space becomes more practical, the cabin still looks nice and the weight inside the car is distributed evenly. Different from the Baleno CNG, the Altroz CNG provides more space for stuff in the boot.
Updated Safety and Interior Design
When considering a new popular crossover for sale, a great rule to follow is to consider its enhanced safety and improved interior features.
According to what was leaked to dealers, every future Altroz facelift will include a standard airbag safety system and electronic stability control. Tata Motors has relied on the same Alfa-Arc platform for the hatchback that helped the older model get 5 stars from Global NCAP.
Several new additions have been made.
  • Better support for the legs while sitting in the back.
  • At the back, there are air vents, an armrest and twin adjustable headrests.
  • A multi-speaker Harman audio system.
  • A new dashboard includes a digital instrument cluster that is nearly the size of a tablet.
This model comes fitted with sunroof, LED projector headlamps and connected LED tail lamps.
The options for engines are not changing

While the car’s style and tech improve, it’s predicted that the available engines will not change.

  • 1.2L Petrol That Uses Natural Suction
  • The car has a 1.2L turbo petrol engine
  • The 1.5L model is powered by a Turbo Diesel
  • A 1.2L Petrol with i-CNG is available now
As a result, only a few vehicles in this class provide so many different fuel options which is helpful in India.
