Maruti Suzuki has officially announced the Maruti Fronx launch for its 2025 model in India. This entails a significant upgrade in safety that could redefine the car’s appeal. Every variant of the Maruti Fronx car will now come equipped with six airbags as standard. This is a crucial step by the automaker to prioritize passenger protection. This vital safety enhancement has been effective from July 25, 2025. It has also resulted in a slight adjustment to the Maruti Fronx price in India, with the ex-showroom quote starting at ₹7.59 lakh. Previously, only the higher-end trims of the Fronx – Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha – came with six airbags. The inclusion of side and curtain airbags across all variants, including the base Sigma and Delta trims, now substantially lifts the safety quotient of the Fronx. This move aligns with Maruti Suzuki’s commitment to standardize six airbags across its entire product portfolio in the coming months. This follows similar updates to models like the Baleno, XL6, and Ertiga.
