Tata Motors is gearing up for the launch of the facelifted version of the Altroz hatchback on May 21, 2025. The Tata Altroz will receive exterior changes and interior changes which would align the car with the brand’s design language seen across its portfolio.
First launched in 2020, this will essentially be a mid-cycle facelift for the hatchback. Built on Tata’s ALFA-ARC platform, which also underpins the Tata Punch, the Altroz debuted Tata’s next-gen platform when it was revealed in 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show.
Notably, It’s also India’s first hatchback to achieve a 5-star Global NCAP adult occupant protection rating.
Test mules of the updated Altroz have already been spotted, giving us a hint of what we can expect.
Let’s look at everything that you can expect from the Altroz facelift:
Interior and Exterior
The Tata Altroz facelift hatchback is expected to get a revised grille, tweaked bumpers, newly designed LED headlamps, the LED DRLs will be nested inside the headlight fairing, instead of fitting it in the fog lamp housing. It will also get a flush door handle.
On the inside, the cabin should see more extensive upgrades, including a bigger infotainment system with a new user interface, a new instrument console, and a revised dashboard with air-con vents.
Moreover, Tata could improve the premium quotient with ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, an electric sunroof, new seat upholstery, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
