Tata Motors has now revealed the new 2025 version of the popular Altroz hatchback. The refreshed Altroz, set for release on May 22, 2025, includes several better features, such as a new look, better technology, and more safety equipment.

Here is a quick comparison of how Tata Altroz used to be and how is it today:

New Lighting Setup

The facelifted version of the Altroz comes with a new set of headlight and taillight designs. Today, the SUV comes equipped with twin-pod LED headlights instead of the former halogen projectors. The DRLs are now shaped like a longer eyebrow, and the rear tail lights are connected using a single LED strip instead of the previous wraparound halogen ones. LED lights are now available for the fog lamps too.

Flush-Type Door Handles

The Altroz from Tata is the first car in the premium hatch segment to include flush-type handles on its front doors. These handles are level with the rest of the handlebars and have illumination built in, giving the aerobars a luxurious feel and making them easier to use.

New design for the steering wheel and digital screen

The steering wheel inside the Altroz is now a two-spoke design, finished in gloss black with the Tata badge now glowing. The highest version of the Accord boasts a 10.25-inch digital driver display, which is a step up from the previous semi-digital display, which came in 7-inch. You can use the new screen with Google Maps or Apple Maps and keep yourself safe using the blind monitor.

Safety Feature: Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) has been added in the 2025 Altroz, giving the model better safety features. It warns drivers if the tyre pressure falls, so they can take action before anything happens.

Price and Competitors

The new Altroz will have a starting price further than the ex-showroom figures of its older model, which went up to ₹11.30 lakh. After the facelift, the Altroz will still face off against the Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza, and the Hyundai i20. Some dealerships are already taking pre-bookings for the 2025 Altroz facelift as it prepares to launch.
