Tata Motors has officially launched the Harrier EV at an introductory price of Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings will open on July 2.
The Harrier EV is built on Gen 2 Acti.ev platform, designed to support a wide range of future-ready technologies. This architecture allows for a more rigid structure, improved driving dynamics, and scalable battery and powertrain options.

The Harrier EV is said to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds, making it one of the fastest EVs in its class.

Notably, the Harrier EV is the automakers first car to sport an all-wheel drive layout since the Safari Storme, which was discontinued over five years ago.

The Tata Harrier EV comes with a new blanked-off front grille, connected LED daytime running lights with welcome and goodbye animations, and LED headlights. There is a refreshed bumper that houses vertical slats and faux-silver skid plate.

The overall silhouette remains the same as the ICE counterpart, there are new set of 19-inch aero-optimized alloy wheels for improved efficiency and ‘EV’ badging on the front doors.
Coming to the rear, it continues to maintain a similar look with minor modifications, which includes connected LED taillights and ‘Harrier EV’ lettering on the tailgate.
Moreover, the rear bumper design has been adjusted to incorporate a similar vertical slat motif as seen at the front.

Tata Harrier EV Battery Pack & Range

The Harrier EV can sprint from 0–100kmph in 6.3 seconds and it makes a massive 504Nm of torque. Moreover, the Tata Harrier EV supports fast charging capabilities, allowing you to juice the battery for up to 250 km range in 15 minutes.

Tata Harrier EV Features

The Tata Harrier EV is equipped with a 14.5-inch Samsung Neo QLED infotainment screen, paired with a JBL Black 10-speaker system with Dolby Atmos, 540-degree surround view. 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and more.
Additionally, you get a digital-IRVM, front-powered seats with memory function, Vehicle-to-load (V2L) up to 3.3kW, Vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) up to 5kW and reverse park assist.
Other features include wireless smartphone connectivity, dual-zone climate control, a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, front ventilated seats, navigation, a powered tailgate, ambient lighting, and connected car technology.

Tata Harrier EV Color Options

The Tata Harrier EV will be available in four color Options:
  • Nainital Nocturne
  • Empowered Oxide
  • Pure Grey
  • Pristine White
Additionally, Tata will also sell a Stealth Edition of the Harrier EV, which features blacked-out design elements inside and out – much in line with the carmaker’s other Dark Edition models.

Tata Harrier EV Safety Features

On the safety front. the electric Harrier will have 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, a 540-degree view camera including transparent bonnet view and kerb impact alert, blind-view monitor, fully automated parking, reversing assistant, hill-hold assist, an electronic parking brake with auto hold function, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), adaptive damping control, and even Level 2 ADAS with a separate ECU, apart from a full complement of airbags.
