Tata Nexon Secures 5-Star Rating in BNCAP Crash Tests

The Tata Nexon has been awarded a 5-star rating by Bharat NCAP. The Nexon’s recent evaluation by Bharat NCAP showcased its exceptional performance in both adult and child occupant safety.

The Tata Nexon has a strong track record in terms of safety; back in 2018, it became the first Indian car to receive a 5-star rating from Global NCAP.

Bharat NCAP tested the Fearless + variant in the diesel powertrain. For adult safety, Tata Nexon scored 29.41 points out of 32, resulting in a five-star safety rating. For child safety, the SUV scored 43.83 points out of 49 points, resulting in a five-star rating. Tata Nexon has a gross vehicle weight of 1638 kg. Nexon also scored a five-star safety rating from the Global NCAP crash test safety rating in February 2024.
