Tata Punch is set to receive a facelift with additional features and a streamlined variant lineup. Test mules of the upcoming Tata Punch facelift have been spotted on a number of occasions in recent months.
The updated model is likely to feature a revamped front grille and redesigned headlamps inspired by the upcoming Punch EV, giving it a more modern and aggressive appearance. While the side profile will sport new alloy wheels, the rear of the vehicle will see minimal changes, retaining a design familiar to current Punch
Tata Punch facelift: Interior
The Tata Punch facelift will get a larger 10.25-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, wireless charging pad, and C-type fast charging ports in Accomplished and Creative variants.
Similar to the Nexon, the Tata Punch facelift could offer a sunroof with more variants. The small SUV will receive a new console for armrests and integrated rear AC vents.
Tata Punch facelift: No Mechanical Changes Expected
The 1.2-liter petrol engine, which produces 88 PS and 115 Nm of torque, will remain in the facelifted Tata Punch. It will be paired with an AMT or a 5-speed manual transmission. Additionally, the CNG model will continue to operate, generating 73.5 PS and 103 Nm when powered by CNG. The addition of the AMT gearbox option for the CNG model could also be on the cards, as Tata already offers the same with the Tiago and Tigor CNG models.
