Tata Sierra.ev Launch: Price Starts at ₹18.79 Lakh with 665 km Range

The wait is officially over. Tata Sierra.ev has been launched in India, with introductory prices starting at ₹18.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Resurrecting one of its most iconic retro nameplates in a fully electric, premium avatar.

The new electric Sierra builds on Tata’s advanced acti.ev+ architecture. Slotting directly between the Curvv EV and the flagship Harrier EV, the new Sierra EV aims to redefine the premium mid-SUV segment with cutting-edge tech, robust range options, and a brutal dual-motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD) layout.

The Tata Sierra.ev sets itself apart from its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart with distinct, EV-specific styling elements designed to optimize electric performance.

Key visual changes include a fully closed-off, body-coloured front grille, a completely restyled front bumper, and clean aero-focused lines across the body. To maximize driving efficiency, the electric SUV introduces newly designed 18-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels that significantly minimize drag coefficient.

While it proudly preserves the iconic boxy and upright silhouette shared with the standard model, it features prominent “AWD” or specialized drivetrain badging to signal its underlying dual-motor capabilities.
