Tata Sierra Petrol, Diesel Engine Options Detailed

- The 2025 Sierra is built on the ARGOS platform, which supports multiple body styles and the possibility of an AWD version in the future.
2025 Tata Sierra has entered the market with a strong ICE foundation. The available petrol, turbo-petrol and diesel engines cater to mainstream buyers needing refinement, performance, and long-distance usability.
Notably, the platform the Sierra is based on is compatible with alternative fuel powertrains, including petrol-electric hybrid and CNG. Tata also says that it is all-wheel-drive-ready and teased that a Sierra AWD is “forthcoming”.
The Tata Sierra gets three engine options: the 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel engine, an all-new 1.5-liter TGDi Hyperion, and a newly developed 1.5-liter NA petrol engine.
