Tata Sierra is set to make its debut tomorrow in a modern avatar while retaining its nostalgic charm. It boasts the same upright & boxy stance as the original Sierra but with a host of modern touches.

The Sierra was a mid-size SUV from the late 1990s and early 2000s – an icon of its time that’s now making a comeback, fans are eager to see the iconic model come back with modern features while staying true to the original design.

The return of the Sierra nameplate repositions Tata Motors in a more aspirational bracket in India’s SUV space.

Sierra EV

The Sierra electric version will follow the combustion launch, likely arriving in early 2026. Built on Tata’s dedicated acti.ev platform, the Sierra EV is expected to offer two battery pack options with capacities around 65 kWh and 75 kWh, delivering an estimated range between 450 km and 550 km on a full charge.

Bookings

Ahead of its arrival, select Tata dealerships across the country have started accepting bookings for this upcoming mid-size SUV.

Expected Price

Tata Sierra price is expected between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). Moreover, Tata will also introduce it in an electric counterpart in the near future.

Features

Tata has revealed a few features in the teasers, like a panoramic sunroof, a triple screen setup, and a dual-zone automatic climate control system. Other expected features include powered and ventilated front seats, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, six airbags, an ADAS suite, a 360-degree camera and an electronic parking brake.
