The EV version of the Curvv, set to debut this festive season, will take precedence over the Nexon. The other big launch would be the Harrier EV, which is expected to come before FY 2025 or early next year. The Bharat Mobility show already showcased the production version of the car, which will also utilize the Acti.ev platform.
The company also aims to increase the number of public charging stations from 10,000 in FY24 to over 100,000 by FY30. Community charging stations are expected to hit over 100,000 from 4,300.

This 5-seater monocoque SUV is built on the OMEGA Architecture, which originates from the esteemed Land Rover D8. The Harrier EV is anticipated to come with a 50 kWh battery, providing a range of 400 kilometers.
Tata Motors is reviving the Sierra nameplate for a new electric SUV. This model will come equipped with a 60 kWh battery pack and offer a range of around 500–550 km. It is believed to have Tata’s all-new Acti.ev platform and will be launched next year, in 2025. The design patent has been filed, and the Sierra EV will likely feature an electric all-wheel-drive system, echoing the original Sierra’s 4×4 capabilities.
The Tata Avinya EV concept promises a range of over 500 km. It is expected to feature dual electric motors, each powering one axle, providing all-wheel drive. The Avinya line of vehicles, built on JLR’s modular EMA platform, will be localized to reduce costs. The production version might also include a quad-motor setup for enhanced performance.
