Top 10 Sold Cars In India During April
If you really ask the top 10 cars in the Indian market today, the Hyundai Creta maintained its undefeated position by standing as India’s leading car model for April 2025 during its second consecutive month at the top. The model sold 17,016 units within the market which only outranked Maruti Suzuki’s Dzire and Brezza by a small margin.

Maruti Suzuki Continues Being the Choice of India's People

Hyundai managed to grab the initial position but Maruti Suzuki secured seven spots throughout the top 10 list.
  • The Maruti Dzire attained the second position by selling 16,996 units to the Creta’s following sales figure.
  • The Maruti Brezza took third position among popular cars with a total sales volume of 16,971 units.
  • The Maruti Ertiga took the number four ranking after attracting 15.780 units of sales for families and commercial market customers.
  • The Maruti Swift achieved seventh rank with its 14,592 units sold.
  • Maruti sold 14,345 units of the Fronx compact SUV and it achieved position number eight.
  • The Maruti Wagon R reached ninth position among the top selling automobiles because 13,413 customers purchased this car.
  • At tenth position the Maruti Baleno reached its place in the list by selling 13,180 units after being a former leader in rankings.

A Tight Race at the Top

All three leading car models fought neck-and-neck towards the top position. The Hyundai Creta led the sales figures with 17,016 units yet Maruti Dzire and Maruti Brezza retailers sold almost identical numbers of 16,996 units and 16,971 units. The third-place finish among the top models in this competition was determined by only 45 units accounting for one of the nearest race results in recent times.

Other Strong Performers

Besides Maruti and Hyundai both companies Mahindra and Tata achieved positions within the top 10 rankings
  • The Mahindra Scorpio took the fifth position by selling 15,534 units during the month. This model stands as a multi-purpose preferred choice which achieves consumer appeal throughout urban areas together with suburban urban centers.
  • The Tata Nexon, a former compact SUV category market leader obtained position six while moving 15,457 units to customers. According to industry data the Nexon maintains its position as a reliable choice for its segment although it did not place among the top five.
The continuous success of these automobiles remains a question many people wish to understand.

Why Choose These Cars Today in 2025?

Hyundai Creta earns fanbase affection from urban families and professionals because of its luxurious design and powerful features and high level of comfort.

  • Maruti Dzire attracts consumers because it combines good fuel efficiency and low ownership costs to suit daily use as well as cab aggregator needs.
  • Maruti Brezza brings together SUV appearance with dimensions that work well in city environments.
  • Maruti Ertiga remains highly popular among large families and shared mobility services because of its seven-person capacity design.
  • The rugged construction of the Mahindra Scorpio brings high demand from semi-urban and rural market customers.
  • The compact SUV segment maintains Tata Nexon as a superior decision due to its high-tech features and safety and stylish design.
  • Maruti Swift delivers exceptional drive experience and strong customer devotion to its model range.
  • Maruti Fronx is developing its position as an urban SUV which features smart styling elements.
  • Commuters choose Maruti Wagon R above all other vehicles because of its blend of practicality and city suitability.
  • Maruti Baleno continues to provide premium features yet does not claim top position among its segment.

Indian car market in a new phase of development

The attention of all observers moves forward into 2025 towards the forthcoming hybrid and electric vehicle production (EVs). Hyundai along with Maruti Suzuki will introduce new models in this segment which expects to shift the current top 10 list within several months. The Indian market proves that SUVs dominate the streets while brands which present a variety of car choices from urban hatchbacks to premium crossover vehicles achieve success in this competitive field.
