Toyota Fortuner, Legender with 48V Mild-Hybrid System Launched

The Toyota Fortuner mild-hybrid is priced at Rs 44.72 lakh.
The Toyota Fortuner Legender mild-hybrid is priced at Rs 50.09 lakh.
The Mild-Hybrid system promises enhanced fuel efficiency, smoother performance and reduced emissions all without compromising the vehicles’ core strengths in power and off-road capability.
Bookings are now open, and deliveries are scheduled to begin from the third week of June.

Toyota has introduced the Fortuner and Legender with a Mild-Hybrid system. The mild-hybrid engine is named as the Neo Drive, sharing its name with the Neo Drive variants of the Taisor and Hyryder.

Notably, there are no changes to the exterior or the interior other than a Neo Drive badge.

Bookings for these variants are now open, with deliveries expected to begin in the third week of June.

Lowers emissions

The hybrid assist system provides smoother low-end acceleration and quieter operation. Its regenerative braking significantly improves diesel mileage by capturing energy during deceleration

Added Features

New features include a 360-degree panoramic camera for improved visibility, a wireless smartphone charger and a Neo Drive badge to differentiate the hybrid-assisted versions.
