Toyota launches Fortuner Legender in Manual Transmission (MT)

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched the Manual Transmission (MT) variant of the Toyota Legender 4X4. The Manual Transmission of the Legender is priced at 46.36 lakh.

The latest variant will sit between the 4×4 AT and the Fortuner GR-S in the lineup. Moreover, The introduction of the manual transmission variant responds to feedback from off-road enthusiasts and driving purists who prefer the direct engagement of a manual gearbox.

The Legender 4X4 MT is available in Pearl White with a Black roof dual-tone finish.

The MT variant combines power, luxury, and advanced technology for a more immersive driving experience, the company said in a media release.

“We are thrilled to unveil the new grade of the Toyota Legender, specifically designed in response to the evolving demands and preferences of our valued customers,” said Mr. Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business. “This new addition of the MT variant will not only further boost the Legender’s appeal but also reinforce Toyota’s commitment to providing versatile solutions.”

Toyota has commenced bookings of its latest offering on its official website and at dealerships.

Key features of the the Toyota Fortuner Legender include an 8-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car features, a 6-speaker sound system, wireless charger, ambient lighting, kick-to-open powered tailgate, dual-zone AC, and cruise control.

The Toyota Fortuner Legender is powered by a 2.8-litre diesel engine, producing 204PS and 500Nm. While the engine is available with both 2WD and 4WD drivetrain options, the manual gearbox unit is exclusive to the 4WD variant.
