Toyota’s most affordable MPV in India gets an upward revision of Rs 12,500 across all variants. The price hike applies to all variants (S, G, and V), respective of their transmission or fuel type.

The Toyota Rumion is a rebadged Maruti Suzuki and is one among the many the two companies share, like the Baleno-Galnza, Fronx-Taisor, Hyryder–Vitara, and more.

Powertrain

The Toyota Rumion is fueled by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that delivers 102 hp and 138 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with either a five-speed manual or an automatic torque converter transmission that drives the front wheels.

Moreover, there’s a CNG variant that produces 87 hp and 121 Nm of torque, available with a manual transmission.

Competitors

The Toyota Rumion competes against the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga itself in the segment, along with the Kia Carens, and the Maruti Suzuki XL6, the Nexa version of the Ertiga.
