Maruti is finally stepping into the electric vehicle space with the launch of the e Vitara, its first fully electric car for the Indian market. Tata Harrier And Tata Safari – New Petrol Variants Joining The Lineup

Expected Price- Likely to sit below the diesel models

The Tata Harrier and Tata Safari two of the company’s most popular flagship SUVs, have been available only with a diesel engine since their launch. Both were powered by a 2 liter diesel that produced 170 PS and 350 Nm of torque. In December Tata will finally offer petrol versions of both SUVs to reach a wider range of buyers

New 1.5L Turbo Petrol Engine

The new engine is a 1.5 liter turbo petrol unit that delivers 160 PS and 255 Nm. This engine recently made its debut in the 2025 Tata Sierra and it will soon be introduced in the Harrier and Safari as well.
