Coming Soon: The Volkswagen Virtus Facelift

An official Volkswagen Virtus facelift is on the horizon, with heavily camouflaged test mules already spotted undergoing trials on Indian roads. The upcoming mid-cycle refresh is set to introduce a redesigned front fascia, modern LED lighting, updated alloy wheel designs, a revamped digital cockpit, and premium cabin finishes. Under the hood, the trusted 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol engines will remain unchanged. However, industry reports indicate a massive mechanical upgrade: the entry-level 1.0-litre engine is expected to ditch its older transmission for a brand-new 8-speed automatic gearbox.
