India&#8217;s largest car manufacturer has now confirmed that new gen dzire will be available for private buyers only , and for taxi\/fleet owners old gen would be available.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-447ea7e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"447ea7e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marutisuzuki.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Maruti Suzuki<\/a> will bifurcate its sales between private and commercial spaces offering the new model to regular buyers and the old-gen model to the taxi drivers.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-12dcfb9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"12dcfb9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u201cWe are targeting the private buyer (with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marutisuzuki.com\/dzire\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">new Dzire<\/a>),\u201d Hisashi Takeuchi, chief executive of India\u2019s largest carmaker, said on the sidelines of the launch of the fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire in New Delhi on Monday. \u201cSo, we will introduce this car to the private buyer and keep selling the previous generation to the fleet segment. That\u2019s how we will differentiate both the markets (hereon).\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5443f0c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5443f0c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAccording to Partho Banerjee, Head of Sales and Marketing at Maruti Suzuki, the new Dzire will not completely replace the current model. He said that the current-gen Dzire will carry on as the Tour version only.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-04d273a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"04d273a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Maruti Dzire Tour S is aimed at fleet operators and the taxi market. The new Tour S, based on the fourth-generation model, will be launched a few years later.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d9f92ca elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d9f92ca\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tNotably, out of the 1.6 lakh Dzires sold last year, around 60,000 units were the Tour variant. The car generates 82 PS and 112 Nm of torque.
